The assignment

The Global Alliance for Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience in the Education Sector (GADRRRES) is an alliance of UN agencies, INGOs, humanitarian and development organisations and networks, youth organisations, multilateral funds, and private sector organisations which believe that every child has the right to learn in a safe environment. It advocates for child rights, resilience, and sustainability in the education sector through a comprehensive approach to school safety.

Contracted by GADRRRES member Save the Children, Common Good Global has worked with GADRRRES across a variety of its communications needs, including identifying potential new members and partners; proofing and designing reports, animations, and social materials; and supporting the transition process between old and new websites.

Projects delivered

Comprehensive School Safety Framework Relaunch

GADRRRES engaged Common Good Global to support its outreach following a thorough update of its flagship Comprehensive School Safety Framework.

We identified potential new members and partners, created an outreach strategy, and provided templates and materials for social media and outreach events.

Content and project management for new website

Common Good Global worked with GADRRRES members and the developers of the new website to finalise content, navigation, and page design. We provided project management to meet the deadline for launch, liaising between the client and the development agency to ensure the needs of the client were clearly understood and met by the developer.

Comprehensive School Safety Policy Survey

As well as providing design and proofing services for the policy survey’s global and regional reports, Common Good Global designed and built an online storytelling platform to help disseminate the key findings of the survey.
